All orders placed with The Shopfitting Shop Limited are accepted with the understanding that the customer / purchaser has read and understood our terms and conditions of sale which are highlighted below. By accepting our terms and conditions you are entering into a binding contract which may only be cancelled by written agreement. The word “Company” within the following terms and conditions refers to The Shopfitting Shop Limited and the words “our website” refers to www.theshopfittingshop.co.uk

The Shopfitting Shop Limited is a Business to Business Seller also known as B2B. We are exempt from the standard Distance selling regulations act. We comply with the
Electronic Commerce (EC DIRECTIVE) Regulations 2002. Which states we operate under our own business terms & conditions regarding returns, refunds, credits, damages & shortages.
 
1 PRICE
 
       1.1          All prices advertised on our website are shown in British Pounds (£). The amount of items ordered will affect the total value of any order. The company reserves the right to change prices without notice and to charge the customer / purchaser the price change at date of invoice. All prices advertised on our website are shown exclusive of VAT. The current rate of VAT is 20%. This will be added to your invoice at the end of the transaction. All values will be clearly shown at all stages of the transaction.
 
1.2                 Our website prices may vary from in store or catalogue prices. Online prices are exclusive to online purchases. The lower price only applies to products bought through the online facility.
 
2 PAYMENTS
 
2.1                 We welcome all forms of payment. Online sales must be paid for by debit / credit card prior to despatch. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, SWITCH, MAESTRO, SOLO, ELECTRON.  We do not accept cards by American Express.

All goods remain the Property of "The Shopfitting Shop Limited" until paid for in full. Title of goods belongs to "The Shopfitting Shop Limited" until paid for in full. Drawings, Artwork, Photographs and Designs are copyrighted and belong to "The Shopfitting Shop Limited", special manufacture of goods or bespoke items must be paid for in advance. Failure to pay in full for any equipment supplied by The Shopfitting Shop Limited will result in legal action.
 
3 SECURITY & PRIVACY
 
3.1              OUR SITE IS TOTALLY SECURE – All information entered into our website is totally secure. Information is encrypted and stored on secure servers and is totally safe. Payments are process via a 3rd party payment gateway such as PROTX, SAGEPAY, and PAYPAL. Cheques can also be posted.
 
3.2           We will not sell or divulge any personal information to any companies or individuals. All invoices generated by our epos sales system are saved on a secure off line terminal and the information stored is only used to offer a better level of service each time you purchase from us.
 
3.3                We do not store any credit card details. If you wish to reorder from us then please treat each order as a new order and follow the onscreen payment gateway.
  
4 DELIVERIES
 
4.1                All deliveries are made using reputable courier services. The Company reserves the right to change without notice to the customer / purchaser the courier company it chooses to use.
 
4.2                Whist every effort is made to ensure safe delivery of goods within a reasonable period of time the company shall not be held responsible for late delivery of goods beyond its control. In no case shall a delay / late delivery be grounds for not accepting the goods or for terminating the contract of sale. Once orders have left the building then the customer is bound to our terms and conditions of sale and the contract entered into.
 
4.3                The company will hold no responsibility for consequences, financial or otherwise for delays in deliveries or failure by the customer to receive the goods at the required delivery address.
 
4.4                All deliveries will be made between the hours of 8.30am and 6.00pm and during the days of Monday – Friday. No deliveries will be made at the weekend or on Bank Holidays.
 
4.5                All orders despatched with our couriers will require a signature on delivery.
 
If the goods are delivered but the packaging appears to be in poor condition or clearly damaged then the goods must be clearly signed for as “ DAMAGED”, unless this is done the Company will accept no responsibility for claims of damaged or faulty items.
 
4.6                 Please have your order delivered to a sensible address. Do not have your order sent to a home address if everyone at the household is at work all day. It is very difficult to arrange re deliveries without incurring huge fees from the courier companies for returning unnecessarily to home addresses.
 
4.7                 VERY IMPORTANT – In the event of goods being returned to the Company because of failure by the customer to receive the goods at the chosen delivery address then the customer will be liable for all costs incurred by the company for returning the goods back to its original point. No redelivery will be made until the customer has paid for a second delivery and reimbursed the Company for the cost of returning the goods back to its warehouse. In most cases a delivery will be attempted more than once before the courier company returns the goods to sender. We have no control over this service and costs for returning to sender will vary depending on product size and destination. A minimum charge of £18.50 + VAT applies for the return to sender service plus your original charge to resend the goods to you. It is therefore the customer / purchaser’s responsibility to have the product delivered to an address where you know it can be accepted.
 
 
5 SHORTAGES & DAMAGES
 
5.1                 Any shortages or damages must be reported in writing to the Company within 48 hours of receiving the order. We will accept this in the form of a letter (sent recorded delivery), fax or email. We will not accept claims for shortages and damages if the customer fails to open, check and inspect the goods within the 48 hour period for claims
.
 
5.2                We will not entertain any claims after 3 days of receiving your delivery as items could have been damaged or gone missing whilst in the customer’s storage / possession.
  
5.3                All claims for damaged goods must be supported by photographic evidence. The Company is unable to resend any replacement goods without viewing suitable evidence to support the customers / purchasers claim.
 
RETURNS & REFUNDS
 
6.1                Should you need to return any items to us the please contact us first on 01477 534 273
 
6.2                The Shopfitting Shop is happy to refund any item that is not required as long as the goods are returned in the original packaging and fit for resale within 7 days of you receiving the goods.
    
W                  We DO NOT refund your original postage costs as that has already been paid to the carrier for their service.
 
6.3                The Shopfitting Shop Limited is not responsible for costs incurred when returning unwanted items to our warehouse and we do not offer a collection service. Should you not require the items you purchased then please return them to the following address. The Shopfitting Shop, Units 4a & 4b Holmes Chapel Business Park, Manor Lane, Holmes Chapel, CW4 8AF.
                
 Refun          Refunds  will be processed on safe return of the goods in their original condition and packaging.
 
6.4                We will not process any refunds if the returned goods have arrived damaged, soiled or in poor condition. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the product is securely packaged for transport.
